Himalayan & Adventure Tours

The Himalayas are not just a mountain range. They are a feeling. For some, it is the peace of a hill station. For others, it is the thrill of a high-altitude trek or the challenge of riding through the world’s highest motorable passes. And for many, it is a spiritual journey to ancient temples and holy rivers.

At Indian Travellers, located at Unit no. 237, Raghuleela Mall, Kandivali West, Mumbai, we have been organizing Himalayan trips for over a decade. Whether you want a relaxed family holiday in Manali, an adventurous road trip to Ladakh, a trek to the Valley of Flowers, or a pilgrimage to Char Dham – we have a package for you.

In this blog, we will take you through our most popular Himalayan and adventure tours, including what to expect, how to prepare, and why booking with an experienced local team matters.

Real Traveller, Real Experience

Amit from Malad booked our Ladakh bike trip with his two friends. They had never done a long-distance bike trip before. We provided the bikes, the route plan, the accommodation, and a support vehicle that carried their luggage and extra fuel.

After the trip, Amit wrote to us, “The ride from Manali to Leh was the toughest and most beautiful thing I have ever done. Without your support vehicle and the detailed itinerary, we would have struggled. Thank you for making this dream come true.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need prior trekking experience for your treks?
No. For treks like Triund, Kedarkantha, and Valley of Flowers, we welcome beginners. You just need basic fitness and the ability to walk 4-6 hours a day. For advanced treks like Hampta Pass, some prior experience is recommended.

What about altitude sickness in Ladakh or high treks?
We take altitude sickness very seriously. Our itineraries include proper acclimatization days. We carry oxygen cylinders and a first-aid kit. Our guides are trained to recognize early symptoms. If you feel unwell, we will descend immediately.

Do you provide trekking gear?
We provide camping gear including tents, sleeping bags, and mats. We do not provide personal gear like trekking shoes, jackets, or backpacks. We will send you a detailed list of what to bring before your trek.

Are your group departures actually from Mumbai?
Yes. For most Himalayan packages, the group meets at a designated point in Mumbai (usually Kandivali or Dadar). From there, we either fly together or take the train to the starting point. If you are coming from another city, we can coordinate accordingly.

What is the best time for a Himalayan trip?
Summer (March to June) is best for hill stations like Manali, Shimla, and Nainital. Monsoon (July to September) is best for treks like Valley of Flowers and for Ladakh. Winter (December to February) is best for snow experiences in Manali and for treks like Kedarkantha.

Can women travel alone on your Himalayan treks?
Absolutely. Many women join our group treks and group tours as solo travellers. We ensure safe accommodation and have both male and female guides available on request.
