Day 01: Arrive in Almaty. Transfer to Hotel Free at Leisure
Arrive at Almaty International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Surrounded by the majestic Trans-Ili Alatau mountains, Almaty is Kazakhstan’s cultural and financial capital, known for its modern architecture and lush green avenues. Enjoy free time in the evening to explore the city at your leisure.
Day 02: Almaty City Tour with Panfilov Park & Zenkov Cathedral Visit Kok Tobe Hill
Almaty, the former capital of Kazakhstan, is rich in history and culture. The city tour covers Republic Square, Independence Monument, Astana Square, Abai Square, and the Palace of Republic. Visit Panfilov Park, the wooden Zenkov Cathedral, and the Memorial of Glory. In the evening, head to Kok Tobe Hill for panoramic city views, reached by a scenic cable car ride, and enjoy attractions, restaurants, and views of the famous TV Tower.
Day 03: Excursion to Kolsay Lake & Charyn Canyon
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day trip to Kolsay Lakes and Charyn Canyon. Explore the stunning “Pearl of the Tien Shan” with its beautiful mountain lakes, then visit the dramatic rock formations of Charyn Canyon, known as the “Grand Canyon of Asia.” Return to Almaty for an overnight stay.
Day 04: Excursion to Shymbulak Ski Resort with Cable Car & Media Arbat Street Walking Tour
After breakfast, visit Shymbulak Mountain Resort via a scenic gondola ride to 3,200 meters and enjoy mountain views and activities. In the evening, explore Panfilov Promenade and Arbat Street for shopping, cafes, and lively street entertainment.
Day 05: Transfer to Almaty International Airport
