Ranthambore National Park – Complete Safari Guide
Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan is perhaps the most famous tiger reserve in the world. The tigers here are famously bold. They often walk right next to safari jeeps, unconcerned by the humans watching them in awe. For many wildlife lovers, Ranthambore is not just a park – it is a pilgrimage.
At Indian Travellers, located at Unit no. 237, Raghuleela Mall, Kandivali West, Mumbai, we organize Ranthambore safari packages for families, couples, and photography enthusiasts. We know every zone, every waterhole, and every tiger territory in this magnificent park.
In this blog, we will cover everything you need to know – zones, the famous tigers of Ranthambore, safari booking, best time, and accommodation options.
Why Ranthambore is Special
Ranthambore is different from any other national park in India.
The landscape: Dry deciduous forests, ancient banyan trees, rocky cliffs, and several beautiful lakes. The 10th century Ranthambore Fort stands proudly in the middle of the park.
The tigers: Ranthambore tigers are used to human presence. They do not hide. They walk on the roads, drink from the lakes, and rest in the shade of the fort walls while jeeps watch from a distance.
The fort: The Ranthambore Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can see it from inside the park during your safari.
The history: This was once a hunting ground for the Maharajas of Jaipur. Today, it is a protected heaven for tigers.
